WHAT YOU'LL PRACTICE
Key skills in this module.
- Ramp etiquette and staging so you’re ready before you back down.
- Backing a trailer with simple visual references and small corrections.
- Launch and loading checklist that keeps you from skipping steps.
- Winch, guides, and engine safety around the trailer.
EXAMPLE SESSION
How a typical session might flow.
- Dry-land walkthrough with your vehicle, trailer, and boat before you ever touch the ramp.
- Practice backing into a wide-open area before working near the ramp.
- Slow, calm practice launch with coaching on communication and hand signals.
- Final full-sequence run: stage, launch, park, load, and pull out.
